The United States is a country that covers an enormous land mass with different ecosystems from mountains, deserts, plains, marshes, forests, and beaches. Being that big and diverse it also contains a total of 63 National Parks as of the writing of this post and encompasses about 423 national park sites. Here are the top 5 parks:

1. Yellowstone National Park

The most popular national park in the country is Yellowstone, which is situated in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. The park is well-known for its wildlife, which includes bears, wolves, and bison, as well as its geothermal features, which include the Old Faithful geyser. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Yellowstone Lake, Grand Prismatic Spring, and Mammoth Hot Springs are some of the park’s other well-known features.
